On June 11, 2022, for my 30th birthday, I fulfilled a long-held wish: my own exhibition. For this, my family and friends transformed the "All Senses" salon in Rostock into a gallery, where I worked as a hairdresser three days a week.
For a weekend, the bright, clear room became the stage for my art. I exhibited body painting photo prints, costumes and painted mannequins.
The exhibition was accompanied by a cultural program.
“Surreal Spheres” captivated me and the audience with a 30-minute fire show that made me cry. I couldn't hold back the tears of deep gratitude for the great show.
The violinist of the band "Peterson" was accompanied by Peter Musk on guitar. They created a cozy fantasy atmosphere with their playful sounds.
“Leon Zeug” was another singer-songwriter who rounded off the sunny day with his sunny disposition.
The musical accompaniment inspired the participants to decorate the area around the entrance to the salon with colorful chalk and countless soap bubbles flew through the air.
The renovation of the salon, which is located on Brink in Rostock, was a special challenge that I mastered with the support of my friends. From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon we transformed the salon into a gallery and finally back into the hairdressing salon that I know so well.
I have Manuel, the owner of the salon, to thank for being able to realize this exhibition at all. He gave me the opportunity to use the space for my exhibition, which was an incredibly generous birthday present for me.
The photos of the day were taken by photographer Jana Wehbe. She managed to capture the mood and the impressions perfectly. Thanks to her, I can capture this special day not only in my memory, but also in pictures. It was an unforgettable experience that combined art, culture and friendship in a unique way.
